BRITISH ROYALS – WILL & KATE VISIT – SHOULD THEY HAVE WORN INDIAN DRESSES?
British Royals – Prince William and Kate Middleton are on their maiden visit to India. They were hosted by Bollywood’s celebrities, met our PM, went to Taj Mahal, the usual visiting a children’s charity … and on and on and on. Kate wore a few colourful dresses while many others were listless and pale – from a mix on Indian and British designers. One comment making the rounds is PM Modi’s shiny white and stylishly baby pink bundi jacket was a bigger attention grabber than Kate’s so very pheeka wishy-washy aqua dress. Would it have been better to have worn Indian dresses – lehenga or saree or something else?
