Orissa High Court now allows Bar Owners to employ women for song and music performances with under strict monitoring of their activities. Thankfully, all Bar and Hotel owners will have CCTV installed for the protection of the working women. While this decision is welcomed, provided the working women are kept safe, we also have to wonder why we waited till the 21st century for this decision …
