ISSUELESS OR TAMASHA HUNGER STRIKE BY AZADI KANHAIYA & TEAM…
JNU’s Kanhaiya and his student compatriots are in the news for being on an “indefinite” hunger strike due to the punishment meted out to several students. Kanhaiya and his team are also making provocative statements as in: “they have never had faith in the probe committee which they consider to be arbitrary, and the findings have been rejected by the student general body”. So the message being sent is the university authorities have no say, but only the student body and including those accused of wrongdoing – the general public is of course left wondering about this, especially since they as taxpayers are funding these students subsidized education…
