Priyanka Chaturvedi joins Shiv Sena after quitting Congress
Former AICC Spokesperson, Priyanka Chaturvedi joined Shiv Sena in the presence of Uddhav Thackeray on the same day that she quit Congress saying that the party supported ‘lumpen goons’. She said that she was welcomed like a family member into Shiv Sena and she joined the party in order to go back to her roots and work for the development of Mumbai. She also admitted that she would be accountable for her past statements and her ideologies will be questioned but she is satisfied with her well-thought decision. However, it does seem hypocritical that she joined a party that is known for exactly the same reasons due to which she quit Congress.
