Despite China’s opposition, India managed to receive unprecedented support (from 14 out of 15 key members) at the UN with regards to Masood Azhar’s listing as a global terrorist. India is quite confident that eventually Masood Azhar will be listed as a global terrorist. Earlier China turned down the appeal saying that it needed more time to analyze the evidence put forward.
