Aadhaar Ordinance plea turned down by SC

The Supreme Court refused to hear a plea challenging the Aadhaar Ordinance brought by the Center which allows the voluntary use of the Aadhaar Card  as an ID proof while buying SIM cards and opening bank accounts. The SC asked the High Court concerned to express its opinions. The advocate appearing for the petitions felt that the SC should make a decision as it would be significant for the entire nation.
