Accidents Death Toll Reduced Due To New Motor Vehicle Act 2019

The Union Road Transport and highways Minster Nitin Gadkari told that the death toll due to accidents on the road has reduced compared to the graph of 2018 till now. The challans issued till now is of 38 lakhs and fine of Rs 577 crore after the new Motor vehicle act 2019.

Puducherry records of lowest and the Chattisgarh shows rise in deaths on road incidents. The penalty for the failure of the traffic rules is higher compared to the previous annexure of Motor Vehicle Act 2019, this is extremely higher penalty has discouraged the citizens to break the traffic rules, as it may have to pay penalty of 10,000 rupees for drunken drivers along with imprisonment of 6 months to 2 years.
