After stalling release of Modi’s biopic, EC bans NaMo TV

The order stalling the release of the biopic on PM Narendra Modi’s life is also applicable to the ban of NaMo TV says EC. According to the Model Code of Conduct, material depicting a candidate for electoral purposes may not be displayed on electronic media. This rule renders NaMo TV as a violation of the code due to which it has to be taken off air.
