Akhilesh Yadav Promises 2% Tax on Upper Caste Elites

SP President Akhilesh Yadav has released an election manifesto on Friday. Akhilesh said that 10 percent of the rich (most of whom are mostly upper caste) have 60 percent of the country’s assets. He said that if his government comes to power, then he will impose two percent additional tax on those rich who have more than two and a half crore rupees worth assets.
