Assam CM Requests Center Additional Forces As Final List NRC
NRC final will be released on 31 August, so the Assam CM request for landing of extra central forces ahead of the release of NRC list. Incomplete information or wrong information of candidates that cannot be enlisted on the NRC will be re-verified and will be published online.
The Supreme court has ordered that the excluded list will be online after proper verification process. Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal has appreciated Amit Shah the present initiatives on NRC and chances of violence are on high rate as people of Assam are tired of the NRC issues, so asked for extra strength of Central forces. CM said “Shah assured all assistance from the Centre for the state to maintain law and order after the final NRC, which is to be published on 31 August,”
