Associated Journals Ltd To Vacant Herald House Order By Delhi High Court

Delhi High Court has ordered to vacant the Herald House that was taken on lease by the Associated Journals Ltd whose maximum shares were transferred to the Young  Indian Company. The share holders of the company are Rahul Gandhi, Satyan Gangaram Pitroda, Motilal Vora, Sonia Gandhi. About 99 percent of shares were transferred to the company.

On 30 October, 2018 had said the AJL to vacant the place as 56 years of  lease is over and  on 21st December, 2018 the single judge had dismissed the petition by the AJL as it is against the Urban Development Ministry. Once again after submitting refused the plea challenging the center’s decision, and commanded to clear off the Herald House.
