Barkha Trehan Claims CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke Mocked Lord Ram and Goddess Sita, Defends Throwing Ink
Men’s Rights activist and Purush Aayog President Barkha Trehan has defended her decision to throw ink at Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke during a protest at Jantar Mantar on 18 July, alleging that he and his associates insulted Hindu deities from the stage.
Speaking to the media on 19 July, Trehan said she was not opposed to peaceful protests and clarified that she was not affiliated with any political party. She alleged that Dipke and his associates mocked Lord Ram and Goddess Sita during the event, which she said deeply offended her. According to Trehan, the protest was politically motivated and unrelated to the NEET issue.
Trehan further claimed that she was mistreated by individuals associated with CJP and Dipke during the event. Explaining her actions, she said she threw ink at Dipke as a mark of protest against the alleged remarks. She added that she would never tolerate comments that she believes insult Hindu deities, including Lord Ram, Goddess Durga, Goddess Kali, and Goddess Sita.
