The BJP has issued a whip to all its Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members asking them to compulsorily be present in the House from August 5th to 7th. While there is speculation that the party is meeting in order to make crucial decisions on the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, governor Satya Pal Malik has said that no changes will be made to Article 370 and 35A. The party members are currently undergoing a discipline workshop where they are being trained to be skilled Parliamentarians. This training is again made complusory for the members to attend. PM Modi addressed the members and said that BJP had grown because of the strength of its ideology and not because of a family legacy, taking a dig at the Congress. The BJP has increasingly been emphasising on the importance of attendence which is one of the basic duties that our leaders are missing.
