BJP to hold a ‘Twitter Chaupal’ to reach out to people
The Delhi BJP has introduced ‘Twitter Chaupal’ to enable communication between the party leaders and a large chunk of the public. The Chaupal will be headed by the Delhi BJP President, Manoj Tiwari to establish a channel of communication between the party and the people of Delhi. The aim of the initiative is to address the concerns expressed by the citizens who can ask their questions using the hashtag #TwitterChaupal. Social Media has become one of the major routes for political parties to reach out to the masses as it is easily accessible to a large chunk of the population. However, the communication gap continues between the political parties and those who do not have access to technology.
