BJP Won Double Seats To 29 legislators In Lok Sabha 2019 Goa
Prior to Lok Sabha Elections 2019 Goa death of CM Manohar Parrikar and appointment of new CM Sawant has led to the occupying double seats, that was about two thirds of majority. The majority was possible through the members from other parties to join BJP.
About 29 legislators supported BJP by different parties in Lok Sabha Elections 2019 Goa. The first move towards BJP was MLA’s Manohar Ajgaonkar and Deepak Pauskar from MGP. Catholic dominated belts, Salcete–Filipe Nery Rodrigues, Wilfred D’sa and Clafasio Dias joined BJP
