Classmates and Teachers term Law Student’s claim of harassment fake
Umam Khanam, a student of Meerut Dewan Law College had posted a series of tweets claiming that she had been harassed on a college trip owing to the fact that she was Muslim. She alleged that she was forced to wear BJP caps. Her account was completely dismissed by her classmates and teachers. Ms. Umam has been accused of fanaticism and has removed her religion based claim from her complaint. It is not clear whether she is an actual victim and if she is then it is not certain if all her claims are entirely true.
