Here is another entertaining story from Kerala . A couple of days ago, while attending a conference organized by an atheist organization, senior Communist leader Anil Kumar spoke about the role played by the Communist Party in promoting free thinking. During his speech, he mentioned that Muslim girls in Malappuram district refuse to wear headscarves, attributing this to the progressive role played by the CPI (M).
