Congress asks Tejasvi Surya to appear before Karnataka Women’s Commission
BJP candidate for Bangalore South, Tejasvi Surya has been asked to appear before the Karnataka Women’s Commission owing to his controversial comments. The complain has been filed by Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee. Tejasvi Surya has not deleted past tweets despite facing criticism based on it after being nominated as he feels it is a part of his growing up process. However a few old tweets related to his opposition of reservation for women have been deleted. It is important for the contesting candidates to be respectful and understanding of all sections of society while running for a post.
