Details on NaMo TV requested by ECI
The Election Commission of India seeks details about NaMo TV from the Information and Broadcasting Ministry to addresses the concerns raised by the AAP and Congress. Earlier the parties had written a letter to the ECI asking whether the launch of NaMo TV was a violation of the Model Code of Conduct issued. In order to ensure a level playing ground for all the parties, the ECI has also written to Doordarshan seeking information on the ‘Main Bhi Chowkidar’ programme which was broadcasted on its channel on March 31.
