Election Commission further bans the release of books and films claiming poll violation

The Election Commission has deferred or banned the release of several books and films that it felt was a violation of the model code of conduct. The election process runs for several weeks throughout the country and the bans have been made in order to not influence the voters in any way. A democratic election should not be obstcting the creative expression of its citizens. The ban itself serve as a bias in influencing the opinions of the people.
