Family members of complainant in CJI sexual harassment case reinstated
The husband and brother-in-law of the woman SC Staffer who had accused the CJI of sexual harassment have been reinstated to their positions by the Delhi Police. The family members of the woman had been removed from their respective offices when she was dismissed from her position in the Supreme Court. The two of them who were in the Delhi Police Force were suspended on the grounds of an old case which had been resolved previously. The order to revoke the dismissal, however, states that departmental enquiry will continue. The brother in law has said that he and his brother are innocent and there was no need to conduct an enquiry.
