Former Navy Chief requests EC to react to Yogi Adityanath’s comments

The Election Commission received a letter from Former Navy Chief Admiral L Ramdas demanding stong action to be taken against Yogi Adityanath for saying that the army was ‘Modi Ji Ki Sena’. The Former Navy Chief stated that the army did not belong to any political party and was a separate entity which serves the nation. Is it ethical to politicise institutions such as the army, navy and air force who do not belong to any political party and serve the nation under all circumstances?
