Tamilnadu girl M Lavanya, a 12th-grader at the Sacred Heart Senior High School in Thirukattupali, took her own life after she was allegedly tormented by school officials for allegedly refusing to accept Christianity. According to reports, the institution forced her to become a Christian before she could continue her education there.
