As Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra completes a week today, the foot march has continued to make headlines.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday kick-started the fourth day of the Kerala leg of the 3,570-kilometre padyatra by offering obeisance to social reformer Sree Narayana Guru at Sivagiri Mutt in Thiruvananthapuram.
Sharing pictures from the visit, Congress’ official handle tweeted, “As Bharat Jodo Yatra completes its first week today, Rahul Gandhi visited Sivagiri Mutt to pay his respects to revolutionary social reformer Sree Narayana Guru, who empowered millions and was an inspiration to Bapu & Ambedkar Ji.”
