Income Tax Department Inaugurated Redressal Desk In Gujarat
Income Tax Departments introduced a redressal week for the tax payers of Gujarat, the highest tax payer state in India that pays about 11.8 % of tax among 6.5% of population.
The redressal desk is for filing the grievance and difficulties in paying tax, while speaking about it P.K Dash, member of central board of direct taxes about 5 % of the 130 crore population in India pays taxes to the government. Gujarat Income Tax Free Legal Service Cell (GITFLSC) is also launched by Mr. Dash to guide the tax payers with legal or illegal issues targeting to collect about 55,000 crores of tax for the year 2018-2019.
