ITBP SOLDIERS CAST 1ST VOTES OF 2019 LOKSABHA ELECTIONS IN REMOTE ARUNACHAL PRADESH

India (our) voting machinery is truly extensive and mind boggling. The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) soldiers cast the 1st votes (whcih would be postal ballots) of this Lok Sabha in Lohitpur, Arunachal Pradesh which is over 2,600 kilometers from Delhi and much more from other parts of the country. Votes by such individuals who are on service outside their constituency are called service voters, and have to get registered in advance. If spouses are staying together, they are eligible to be such service voters. And in case of any doubts, the Election Commission has a fully secured system with multiple levels of security to ensure total secrecy. And Chinese soldiers were and are probably jealously looking at our soldiers voting…
