Jet Airways attacked for JetPrivilege’s print advertisment
Jet Airways has been in a serious financial crisis and is desperately looking for funds to revive the company. The company is on the verge of bankruptcy and its founder Naresh Goyal has been summoned by the Income Tax Department for alleged tax evasion. The employees of the company are in extreme stress and anxiety. Recently an advertisement was published on the front page of the Times of India for JPMiles. Several people on Twitter began questioning how Jet Airways had the funds to print advertisements but not pay its employees. However, the ad was printed by JetPrivilege which is a separate company. Jet Privilege is owned by the Etihad Aviation Group. The accusation on Jet Airways was made by a few ‘intellectuals’ who did not bother to get their basic facts right.
