J&K students benefit from PM’s scholarship scheme through IIT Guwahati

IIT Guwahati along with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding in order for students of Jammu and Kashmir to benefit from the Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme. 100 students from Jammu and Kashmir will be interning at IIT Guwahati beginning from May in different batches. The internships are research oriented. This will be beneficial to the students who have for long been facing interruptions in academics due to violence in the valley.
