Karimnagar youth refutes being beaten for not chanting ‘Jai Shree Ram’
A mob claimed that a young Muslim man from Karimnagar was beaten up due to his refusal to chant the slogan ‘ Jai Shree Ram’ at the local police station. Videos were shared on Twitter where the village people can be seen blaming the BJP and RSS workers for the attack. However, the young man has refuted their claims and said that there was no communal angle to his injury. He stated that he was beaten up owing to an affair he had with a girl. It is being said that he was harassing the girl due to which he was physically attacked. The police have filed a case against those who resorted to physical violence. If the information about him harassing the girl is true then a case must be filed against the young man as well.
