Karnataka And Kerala To Speculate On State Based Political Parties In Lok Sabha Polls 2019
Karnataka is presently ruled by JDS-Congress coalition lead by the Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy as JDS formed the government with 37 seats together with Congress won 79 seats in 2018 assembly election.
In Lok Sabha Polls 2019 Karnataka is looking into the state-based political parties while in Kerala, Rahul Gandhi has taken the opportunity to contest from Wayanad as last two polling seats were taken away by Congress member MI Shanavas won from Wayanad who passed away last year. Congress won with 1.5 lakhs votes in 2009 from Shanavas opponent from CPI(M). In 2014, Wayanad has been under Shanavas and finally in 2019 Rahul Gandhi is looking forward to win with flying colors.
