KERALA HIGH COURT BANS POLITICIANS FROM TEMPLE COMMITTEES

A Kerala High Court Division Bench banned political party representatives from a temple management committee in Palakkad. The order was on a petition against including Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) local leaders in the Kali Kavu temple management committee under the Malabar Devaswom Board (MDB). The court added that political activists should not be appointed to any temple management committees under the MDB.
