Kolkata City Safest Among 19 Indian Cities
Kolkata City is found to be one of the most safest city with the crime rate has reduced to 31.3 percent in the past four years. Kolkata has followed by Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kozikode and Mumbai one among the 19 Indian cities.
The Kolkata police commissioner Anuj Sharma said that the reduction of crime rate is due to the development of the infrastructure, training and the increased manpower of the Kolkata city police force. In the infrastructure, police stations and specialized units have been developed.
