Lessons Learnt From Nuh Violence! 14 Haryana Panchayats Decide To ‘Boycott Muslims’

In awake of the Hindu genocide attempts in Nuh by the Islamists, now ourteen villages across three districts in Haryana collectively wrote to the police and district administrations, informing them of their decision to “boycott members of the Muslim community”. The panchayat’s decision came after the recent communal violence in Haryana. The 14 villages are from Mahendragarh, Jhajjar and Rewari, which were among the districts that were hit by the communal clashes that started on July 31 after a Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) religious procession was attacked. Six lives have been lost and significant damage to property was caused as the violence, which started in Nuh, spread to other districts.


The panchayats took the decision “not to rent out houses and shops to people from the Muslim community” after the communal clashes and informed the authorities in Haryana through a letter.
