Maldives confers PM Modi with Highest Civilian Award

PM Modi’s visit to the Maldives was made more wonderful as he was conferred with the Highest Civilian Award of the Maldives. The award named ‘Order of the Distinguished Rule of Izzudeen’ was given to PM Modi by the President of Maldives. The presentation of the award is an indicator of the strength of the relationship between India and Maldives. It is said that the decision to present the award was taken after considering PM Modi’s relentless and earnest efforts to improve the relations with the Maldives and always being a source of immediate help to the country. Modi’s meeting in the Maldives was also important as he launched key projects in collaboration with the President of Maldives.
