Maldives Tour PM Visits Presenting A Bat To President Cornerstone Cricket
Narendra Modi visits Maldives, after being Prime Minister for the second time. Maldives tour being first stepping out of India, meets President Solih presents a bat signed by the Indian cricket team. In his tweet, Modi said that President of Maldives Solih is a sports and cricket fan so gifted him a cricket bat.
Maldives President wants to promote sports while India is ready to help in developing sports. Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale said “A team from the BCCI visited the Maldives earlier in May for training of Maldivian cricketers, organizing coaching programs and supply of kits”. Maldives tour of two days in which Modi looks forward on building connection on Indian Archipelago.
