Mamata Banerjee livid as her Eid Tweet receives ‘Jai Shree Ram’ as a response
Mamata Banerjee took to Twitter to wish Muslims Eid Mubarak but many people replied to the tweet with the slogan ‘Jai Shree Ram’ which had previously triggered an angry response from her. Mamata Banerjee warned the BJP to stay within its limit and said that the TMC was accepting of all religions. Her nephew Abhishek Banerjee mocked BJP’s slogan ‘Jai Maha Kali’ and said that it replaced ‘Jai Shree Ram’ due to tipping TRP’s. Previously Bengali film artist Aparna Sen had said that by reacting harshly to the ‘Jai Shree Ram’ slogans in a democratic country, Mamata was digging her own grave.
