More power for armed forces

The Modi government has given emergency powers to armed forces to buy defense equipment in wake of the Pulwama attack. The terror attack on Valentine’s day in Pulwama took the lives of 40 CRPF personnel. The government has increased the financial power of the armed forces to enable buying weapon systems worth Rs 300 crores under each proposal.
