New FIR against Azam Khan added to his long list of cases
A day after news of Samajwadi Party MP Azam Khan being barred from Aligarh Muslim University for forcefully making his way to a female ward, new charges have been filed against him. The Police have registered an FIR where a tehsildar of Rampur district alleged that Azam Khan had illegally occupied the land belonging to farmers. The property-related case accuses Azam Khan of occupying enemy property and building the Jauhar University on it. The UP Police have said that there were enough charges against Azam Khan in order for him to be arrested due to which he is avoiding visiting Rampur.
