Omar Abdullah asks party leaders to keep politics away from Eid
NC leader Omar Abdullah appealed to his party members to keep politics away from Eid Celebrations. He discouraged the party leaders to lobby for party tickets using Eid celebrations as a reason. He went on to say that those bringing delegations to his house to the mandate as a ‘gift’ for Eid were not doing themselves any favour. Jammu and Kashmir is currently under President’s rule as the PDP-BJP alliance broke apart last June. The Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir is going to be held soon this year.
