P Chidambaram to be under CBI custody for five days
After the high drama and a brief public appearance Former Congress Finance Minister P Chidambaram was taken into custody by the CBI for interrogation regarding the INX Media Case. The CBI was unable to trace Chidambaram but later managed to arrest him. A Delhi Special Court granted the CBI permission to hold Chidambaram for 5 days and his arrest was made on a non-bailable warrant. Despite being a lawmaker himself, Chidambaram made a mockery of the law system by pretending to be in hiding and eventually coming out himself.
