Political Parties Restricted To Use Social Media For Campaigning
Social media details to be handed over to the panel by the leaders or political party members. They will be under strict observation under the model code of conduct.
Pre-certified contents to be uploaded by the party leaders or campaigners during the last 48 hours so that no violation of laws occurs through social media. A phrenic decision was proposed by the department of electronics and Information technology along with voluntary compliance has been taken to reduce the wrong utilizing of social media by the political parties.
