Political parties on social media are using data analytics to target specific information to particular groups. The vote appeal content is different for various voter groups. Online surveys are being conducted to determine the voting behaviour of individuals which helps political parties in customizing their online campaign catering to the preferences of the voters. Since social media campaigns are not a complete picture of the party’s policies, votes must gather information from a number of sources before making a decision.
