Prahlad Joshi meets Sonia Gandhi to discuss hiccup-free run of the first parliamentary session

The 17th Lok Sabha will host its first Parliamentary Session on June 17. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi held a cordial meeting with Congress Parliamentary Party Chief Sonia Gandhi in order to ensure the functioning of the first parliamentary session without any hiccups on the 17th of June. Joshi said that he appealed to Sonia Gandhi to be cooperative during the session to ensure it runs smoothly. Sonia Gandhi in return asked for the government’s cooperation from the treasury benches. Prahlad Joshi was accompanied by Union ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Arjun Ram Meghwal. He plans on visiting all opposition leaders in order to seek their complete cooperation and to assure them of the government’s support.
