Prakash Javadekar announces that DD India will be telecast in Bangladesh

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar announced that Prasar Bharati and Bangladesh TV Had signed a Memorandum of Understanding to broadcast DD India in Bangladesh and BTV World in India. Javadekar said that this was being done in the interest of the East Indian viewers. With India having a large population of Bengalis, the BTV World which will be made available for free on the DD Free Dish is likely to be well received. Similarly, a South Korean channel called KBS will also be available in India. Javadekar said that a friendly understanding between countries was essential to promote unity.
