In an attempt to keep traditional Indian languages and culture alive, the Yogi Adityanath led UP Government will be publishing press releases in Sanskrit along with English, Hindi and Urdu. Sanskrit being one of India’s native and first languages is on the decline with only 0.00198 % of the population being able to speak in the language. The first Sanskrit press release was on June 17 and according to sources it was received well which acts as a motivation. Yogi Adityanath had previously said in his speech that the Indian DNA had the Sanskrit language in it and it is unfortunate that the masses do not have any knowledge of it.
