PV Sindhu wins BWF and makes India proud

PV Sindhu became the first Indian to win the gold at the Badminton World Championship. She beat Nozomi Okuhara to whom she had lost to in 2017 which resulted in her winning the silver. PV Sindhu said that she had to face extreme criticism for reaching the finals twice (2017 and 2018) and losing both times. She said that her win was her answer to her critics. She also dedicated her gold medal to her mother, whose birthday it was coincidentally. Sindhu is an inspiration for all the aspiring sportswomen in India.
