Reasons For Karnataka Cops Seeking Mercy Killing
Karnataka Cops in lower rank claim that they are facing mental torture as a result of staying away from their partners, children and parents. Unable to bear the brunt of serving away from their families, thousands of police officers in Karnataka have sought mercy-killing of the state Government does not grant inter-district transfer closer to their homes. According to officers, the transfer list has been lying unsigned on the table of the Additional Director -General of Police (ADGP) for two months.
