Satya Pal Malik addresses Kashmiris on their identity
Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Satya Pal Malik hoisted the Indian National Flag in Srinagar to celebrate India’s 73rd Independence Day. Addressing the people of Jammu and Kashmir, Malik said that their identity would not be affected because of the revoking of Article 370. He assured the people that the loss of a special status did not mean the loss of their identity and that the people would always remain Kashmiris. Malik went on to speak of the economic development that is anticipated in the region after the government’s move.
