Single-Use Plastic Banned In Everest Region Nepal
Mountainous, Hilly places that are mostly filled by single-use plastic or other food wastes due to tourists. The trekkers who climb the hilly have covered the places with wastes that are cleared by the respective authority. Initiatives have been taken, but continuous efforts have failed and finally the single-use plastics are banned in Everest.
The pollution caused due to plastics has already damaged the environment and water. The ban on the snow capped mountains over plastics less than 30 microns thickness including the plastic bottles to start from January 2020.
