Advocate Rajeev Dhavan arguing for the Sunni Waqf Board said that the Supreme Court’s decision to hear the Ayodhya Land Dispute case on a day to day basis for five days a week was unacceptable. He said that the Court was rushing the case without giving ample time for thought and discussion. Dhavan said that it would be difficult to assist the court if he was pressurized to argue every day. He even said that if the argument of the case continued all week long then he would have to leave the case. CJI Ranjan Gogoi said the suggestions will be taken into consideration and reviewed. The case has been going on since 1992 and has not seen a resolution, a pressurized argument is required to reach a conclusion.
